Dr. Kirby Perrault, D.C.

Lansing Spine Doctor Kirby PerraultDr. Kirby Perrault’s story is one of inspiration, transformation, and dedication to family wellness. Moving to Okemos, Michigan in the fall of 1998, Kirby and his wife, Julie, opened Okemos Family Chiropractic (OFC) in August 1998. For over 25 years, they have successfully operated this business, which at times supported as many as eight employees, including administrative assistants, chiropractors, and massage therapists.

OFC prides itself as a family wellness practice with the core mission to enhance the health of each family member through services like regular chiropractic adjustments , nutritional advice, decompression, Softwave,
vibration therapy, and more, all offered in a nurturing environment. This dedication is evident in the long-term relationships with patients, some of whom have been with the practice for its entire 25-year history.

The Perrault family, with ten members, embodies the practice’s health and wellness ethos. Their professional practices always adhere to the latest taxation, health insurance, billing, and employee-pay protocols, and practice management reflecting their commitment to operational excellence.

Kirby and Julie are the proud parents of eight children, whose ages span from 23 to 5 years. The couple has actively contributed to their community (financial support or direct involvement coaching) through church, sports, and dance engagements, demonstrating their holistic approach to life.

Born and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, Kirby graduated with honors from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame high school. He was awarded a Four-Year Hockey Scholarship to Michigan Technological University (MTU), where he excelled academically and athletically, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 1994. Kirby’s college years were distinguished by his selection to the Western Conference Hockey Association All-Academic Team for three consecutive years.

Following his graduation from MTU, Kirby married Julie Marie Storm and pursued his chiropractic studies at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota. Upon obtaining his degree in April 1998, the couple established their lives and practice in Okemos, Michigan. Kirby became a U.S. citizen in 2005 and sponsored his parents for U.S. Permanent Residency in 2014.

In summarizing his life philosophy, Dr. Perrault emphasized his commitment to being a good citizen, friend, husband, and father, attributes that he aspires to continue nurturing with God’s grace.

The Perraults’ journey is not just a testament to their individual success but a reflection of their deep-seated belief in the power of chiropractic and natural healthcare to transform lives. As they look toward the future, with plans to expand their wholistic wellness/beauty cash based (non insurance dependent) family care practice in Michigan and beyond, the Perraults remain dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of communities around them, including their ambitious goal to support orphanages in Guatemala (which was ignited after a mission trip there in 2016).
